Only in Bennington – Museum Stories
Join us for an evening of stand-up storytelling with a twist! In collaboration with the Bennington Museum, we’re bringing local voices to the stage for an event that’s all about the stories, quirks, and unique moments that make our town special.
This isn’t your typical storytelling event—it’s Pecha Kucha style! Presenters will tell their true Bennington-related stories using 20 slides that advance automatically every 20 seconds, creating an engaging, fast-paced experience.
The theme? "Only in Bennington." Hear from long-time locals and newer residents as they share personal tales, memorable events, and fascinating insights about our community.
We’re looking for storytellers! If you’ve got a Bennington story to tell, now’s your chance. Young voices are especially encouraged to share their unique perspective.
Interested? Here’s how to get involved:
- Familiarize yourself with the Pecha Kucha format.
- Email Damien McCaffery at dmccaffery@benningtonmuseum.org with your story idea.
- Be ready for two rehearsal sessions and to shine on March 22nd!
Come celebrate the vibrant stories that make Bennington a place like no other. We can’t wait to see you there!
